The Bowser Report: ZAGG has earned the Microcap Horatio Alger Award
Four years ago, ZAGG did not exist in its present form. And it is demonstrating that a new unique product can be introduced during even the worst times.
Robert Pedersen II, who took over in 2005, and his team, didn’t enjoy overnight success. And, although their primary product was accepted enthusiastically in the marketplace, operation in 2006 and 2007 were marked with loses. It wasn’t until 2008 that profits were scored with escalating sales.
In true Horatio Alger fashion, ZAGG qualifies for this award. Mr. Alger, an 1800s writer of boys’ stories, alway emphasized being able to overcome obstacles on the path to success. ZAGG demonstrates just that.
