9 U.S. small-cap sector ETFs are set for launch by PowerShares

PowerShares will introduce a family of nine sector exchange-traded funds investing in U.S. small-capitalization stocks early next month. The ETFs are the PowerShares S&P SmallCap Health Care Portfolio, the PowerShares S&P SmallCap Materials Portfolio, the PowerShares S&P SmallCap Industrials Portfolio, the PowerShares S&P SmallCap Utilities Portfolio, the PowerShares S&P SmallCap Energy Portfolio, the PowerShares S&P SmallCap Consumer Staples Portfolio, the PowerShares S&P SmallCap Consumer Discretionary Portfolio, the PowerShares S&P SmallCap Information Technology Portfolio and the PowerShares S&P SmallCap Financials Portfolio. All will trade on Nasdaq Global Market.
