GelTech Solutions creates innovative, Earth-friendly, cost-effective products that help industry, agriculture, and the general public accomplish environmental and safety goals, such as water conservation and the protection of lives, homes, and property from fires. Its two leading products are FireIce® and RootGel.
FireIce® is a patented powdered fire suppressant used for direct attack of fires as well as a medium term retardant for structure protection. FireIce can be used in all types of apparatus; fire extinguishers, pumper trucks, aerial units for wildfires and home defense units for personal home protection.
RootGel is a solution to today’s drought challenges. RootGel is a moisture-retentive soil conditioner that decreases the need for water. RootGel is ideal for turf growers, lawn and landscape professionals, tree and sod farms, nurseries and greenhouses.

GelTech Solutions, Inc (sym: GLTC.OB): My Spec Pick for 2010

What is happening with this stock Ian????
John:
Its dropping just like everything else in this market the last 30 days. Once they show a real order for product it will bounce. Until then it will be in a trading range. $1-1.50 probably.

Ian,
Are the buying the product???
Any thoughts on appointment of Anthony Marchese to BOD? Does this signal VC interest as an indication of imminent market / USFS acceptance? Is his outfit style known – as either benign or malignant?

Hank:
I know Anthony, he is a good addition. It’s good to have knowledgeable wallstreet types on the board. The USFS certification is all but a given as its a 18 month process and we are through 14-15 months. As far as acceptance, only time will tell but everyone from the USFS to the plane owners that drop retardants on fires seem excited.

Anything more from China??
Hello????
hey john, i have nothing new.
IC
More fires in Calf. you would think they would love this stuff.
Govt Bull as usual….test is almost done ….right.
stay on it
Thanks
Yeah unfortunately its a valid excuse. UFS states it takes approx 18 months for testing, and GLTC is about 14-15 months through the process. If I were a fire station I wouldn’t use the product either on a wild fire before approval as you would leave yourself open to liability.
